De Amerikaanse zangeres & violiste Alison Krauss zingt in elk lied weer spatzuiver en klinkt als een engel. Hier kun je het horen in een schitterende acapella versie uit 2002 van de traditional Down To The River To Pray, waarbij ze steun krijgt van drie leden van haar begeleidingsgroep Union Station (Ron Block, Dan Tyminski & Barry Bales). Het lied werd vooral bekend door de film O Brother Where Art Thou? (2000), waar Krauss het zong voor de soundtrack. Ik heb het nummer zelf nog gezongen tijdens een week Bluegrass zingen in 2003 op Buitenkunst onder leiding van Ernst van Utrecht. Dat was een geweldige ervaring.
